Are you tired of spending money on high price coffee? Would you like to have something that is healthy, organic, and taste great? I then would like to introduce you to Daito Tea. The originator of Daito Tea was the 7th lord of Matsue domain, Haursato Matsudaira, known by the name Fumai.

He was visiting the Daito area (Unnan City) and was given a cup of tea. He was so impressed with the taste and believed it
matched the waters in the Kyoto area, he ordered that tea should be grown in the area. The monks for the Sousen Temple agreed and started growing tea at Mt. Maruko. The trees were imported from
Kyoto with the help of Kanbayashi Sannyu. This name, Kanbayashi Sannyu, is passed down from generation to generation and is
known as the master of the tea ceremony for the shogunate and has even delivered tea to the emperor.

Keeping with the tradition of this great tea, Kaoru Fujihara began farming organic tea and cultivating it in a exclusively natural way. He believes in harmony with nature
and not harming the environment or ourselves. He produces high quality, pesticide free, organic tea. He believes the time and effort it takes is worth the taste.

The next time you are visiting Unnan, Daito area or even a planned trip, a quick stop by the Fujihara Chadonya is a great place to find your healthy, organic, great taste tea. It may even replace that cup of overprice coffee.
